Modest Maternity: The Brown Maxi Skirt

Good Morning! Welcome to another Modest Maternity.

You can read more about my reasons for wanting to write about how to have a modest (yet stylish!) maternity wardrobe here. As I mentioned previously, the goal of Modest Maternity is to feature one item of clothing each week. I will show you four ways to style the featured piece of the week. I will try my best to tell you where it came from (including a link if possible!) as well as how much I paid for it.

The article of clothing that I will be featuring this week is a Brown Maxi Skirt! This is the same type of skirt that I featured in my Forth of July Modest Maternity post. This is the brown version of that skirt. This skirt was $15.00 and while that is more than I would normally pay for a single article of clothing I consider this to be a staple piece and totally worth the cost. You can find one for yourself here. With that being said, lets begin!

Brown skirt: $15.00 on Amazon
Patterned Shirt: Target brand, purchased from a thrift store for $1.00
Undershirt: Faded Glory, Walmart $4.95
Necklace: Walmart $5.00

So these were my outfit ideas for this week's Modest Maternity series. I hope that you enjoyed it.

I will be posting more of these outfit examples often to my blog.
It won't be on a regularly scheduled day, so be sure to check back often!

What did you wear this week?

Are you looking to link up? If so, you should check out all the places I link up.

  1. Well, I'm not wearing maternity for sure. ha! But you sure look sweet and pretty in yours. You should market your smile. Smile by Blood of the Lamb. Christian's smiles are genuine, aren't they? I agree that a brown skirt is a staple. I lost some weight and can no longer wear mine. I haven't been able to find one to replace it. ~Pamela
