Welcome to Title Tuesday, my favorite day of the week! This day is dedicated to book suggestions and reviews. I write this portion of my blog because I am a big believer in the motivational speaker Charlie Jones' quote which says, "You will be the same person in five years as you are today except for the people you meet and the books you read.” I try to meet as many new people as possible and to read everything I can. This is my way of sharing that information with you. If you are interested in understanding my rating system for books you can read my Book Review Explanation here and What I Believe here. If you want to check out what I am currently reading or what I want to read next, friend me on Goodreads! With all that being said, lets jump in!
Do you ever get to the end of a fabulous book and you just can't decide what to read next? I experience this every single time I finish a book. I know that doesn't sound like it belongs on a Title Tuesday, but I promise it it relevant!
Today I want to tell you how to keep up a reading list that way you always have another title recommendation ready. Pinterest is my go-to place for book reviews and recommendations. I encourage you to link up with me on Pinterest and follow my boards. If you check out my Pinterest page you will see I have three boards dedicated to books.
The first one is Books for Adults to read. I cover everything from Bible studies, to fiction to biographies. It is a great place if you are wondering what you should read next.
The second board is Books for Book Clubs. In this board I have books that can ignite great conversations. Each of these books stirs up questions or stimulates thoughts that might not otherwise occur.
The last board is Books for Children. This is the most diverse list. I have books, I have lists of books. Some of the books are Christian, some of the books are for homeschooling, some of the books are purely because my two year old is obsessed with trucks.
Having books in marked boards where I can easily scroll through and remember all the titles that I absentmindedly said, "oh that looks good" about helps me to remember the great book recommendations that I get. It helps me to be a more efficient reader to have a list of books that I want to read.
Let me know what you think! Do you have a book list on social media? Drop a comment below and I would LOVE to come check out your list!
